We had chicken and rice for dinner tonight. It's one of Ryleigh and Reagan's favorite meals.....to make a huge mess with! When they were done, there was rice EVERYWHERE. All over their faces, in their hair, down their shirts, all over the dogs. Reagan even had rice in her butt crack! How does that even happen??! There is a reason why bath time is right after dinner! Man, I love my messy girls!

18 Month Well Visit

We had Ryleigh and Reagan's 18 month well visit today. Something very significant happened. Ryleigh DID NOT throw a fit!!! yay! She is getting so much better around people. I'm so stinkin' proud of her!! Her norm is to start throwing a fit as soon as the nurse opens the door to call us back! And...she pretty much cries the entire visit. She only cried once, when their doctor was looking in her ears...and it wasn't even a major fit. So. Proud!! :)

The visit went great. They are both walking..finally! And we really didn't have much to talk about, which is a good thing! Ryleigh weighs 23 lbs 3 oz and is 32.25 inches tall and Reagan weighs 25 lbs 8 oz and is 32.5 inches tall. They are both getting so tall...and Reagan has actually lost a little weight since her last visit. Now that she's walking, she's going to think out so quickly. This makes me a little sad. *sigh* I love her chuck! :)

Today, we played with play-doh for the first time!! :) They both really liked it. I only had to tell Ryleigh not to eat it about 5 times....and after Reagan snuck in a bite, she didn't try to eat it again. :) Ahhhh, my babies are getting so big.

Knucks

Ryleigh's new favorite thing is to "give knucks". Her father taught her this, of course. It really is cute, though. When she sees anyone, she holds out her fist. She always tries to give Reagan knucks too, but she gets frustrated, because Reagan doesn't quite get it yet. She says "knuck" when she does it too. Jeez, my babies are adorable. :)

I have yet to get a picture or video of this, because they refuse to do anything I want them too when I get the camera out!

Park!

Texas weather is so loony. One day it's 30, the next it's 75. Well, today? 75! So, Matt and I decided to take Ryleigh and Reagan to the park. It's been a while since we've taken them...and they loved it. They had fun swinging, they played on the big castle...but mostly, they just wanted to enjoy their freedom and walk all over the place..down the sidewalks, on the grass. We all had so much fun!  Here are a few pictures from the day. :)
