Giggles

Ryleigh and Reagan interact more and more every day. They kiss each other, play together, and giggle together all the time. They really seem to enjoy each other most of the time...and it melts my heart.

Wisdom teeth. POOP!

Wednesday, I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I've been putting this off for quite a while because I have extreme dental anxiety. I do NOT like going to the dentist. I don't like anyone touching my teeth, I don't like the smell or sound of the drill. It just all really freaks me out. But? Part of one of my wisdom teeth broke off and started getting infected...so it was time. My brother got his out about a year ago, and it was so easy for him. He only took like 2 vicodin...and never had any pain. But everyone else that I've talked to has had a horror story about how terrible is was.

Well, turns out, things are going great! I haven't really had any pain. Soooo happy about that. Plus Matt and my family have been amazing. My brother took me to get the surgery done, and my mom was here helping out with Ryleigh and Reagan. It turns out, I probably could have handled Ryleigh and Reagan...but it really was nice knowing that I didn't have to. I got lots of rest. It was kind of amazing.

A funny thing happened on Wednesday night that has nothing to do with my teeth, though. Well, I'm not sure if it was really funny, but it's one of those things where...you just have to laugh so you don't cry. The diaper genie is near Reagan's crib, because that's really the only spot for it...but it's always out of her reach...and even if she could reach it, it's not likely she could get anything out of it as long as diapers are put in there correctly. Well, a chain of events happened....It got moved closer to Reagan's crib...and it got clogged, so my mom was shoving diapers in the top of it....and.....Reagan decided to have a good ole time while she was supposed to be napping. She got her poop diaper out of the diaper genie...and preceded to play in it and get poop EVERYWHERE. It was all over her face, in her hair, shoved in the hollow part of her pacifier, all over her crib. It was disgusting. It was also pretty hilarious watching my mom try to get the poopy jammies off of Reagan while Matt was holding her (upside down at one point). I would be freaking out a little more, probably, but I found the majority of the poo on the floor, so I'm pretty sure she didn't eat it. I did, however, feel the need to google, "my kid ate her poop" to make sure she wasn't going to die or something. After I got everything cleaned up, I got mad at myself that I didn't take a picture first! Grrrr. That would have been a good one for her memory book.

What a day! :)

Vacuuming is FUN

One of Reagan's new favorite things is vacuuming, with her adorable toy vacuum that plays songs about cleaning. It's so cute watching her push it around, but she definitely didn't get her love of vacuuming from me. Hopefully she will still like it when she's old enough to push the real vacuum around! :)
