Plano East!

If you know my husband at all, you probably know that he is very passionate about high school football, Plano East high school football in particular. He hasn't missed a game in 18 years. Yes, really. Since he and I met, I started going to the games with him on Friday (occasionally Thursday) nights. So, I've been to my share as well. Last year, when the babies were only like 6 weeks old, Matt talked me into taking them to a Plano East game. I still can't believe I let him talk me into that. It was So. Freakin. Stressful. They were tiny. The stands were completely full. It was just pure craziness and I hated every second of it...and we didn't take them to another game last season.

This year? They are 13 months old, and they were ready to go cheer on the panthers! Ryleigh and Reagan's bedtime is 8:00pm, so we have planned for them to only go to the first half of the games, and then I will bring them home and put them to bed. Tonight was their first game this season! They looked so cute in their panther onsies that one of Matt's coach friend's wife made for them! And they did great at the game. It's really hillarious how different they are, and how differently they react to new situations. And what's even more funny, is they oftentimes surprise us with their reactions. Ryleigh had so much fun at the game tonight. She looked all around at the people, watched the game, clapped when everyone else around us did. It was so cute. She is hard to handle though because she is SO squirmy. She can't be still for even a second. Reagan on the otherhand is so calm and still...and snuggled into me most of the time...but she started crying every single time this lady behind us yelled...which was a lot...pretty much every time the panthers did anything good...or bad. haha Poor baby was so scared.

I would have thought that Reagan would have loved it and Ryleigh would have been freaked out by all the people, screaming, bands, etc. I think a lot of Reagan's problem was that she didn't have a good morning nap....and she's cutting molars. Poor thing.

Overall, I'm very proud of how they acted at the game, and I'm ready to try again next Friday! :) Go Plano East Panthers!!
