Just like most things, when it comes to eating- Ryleigh and Reagan are totally different. I have to spread Ryleigh's food out on her tray, because if I put pieces too close together, she grabs them all up in her hand at once and shoves it all in her mouth. She still shoves it all in as quick as she can when I spread it out, but at least it takes her a little longer. She seriously acts like I'm going to take it away from her if she doesn't eat it fast enough. It's kind of hillarious. Oh, and when she clears her tray, she says, "more"!!!
Reagan, on the other hand, meticulously eats one piece at a time, slowly chewing every bite. They are both doing great though, eating pretty much anything I put in front of them.
They are both learning to use a fork and spoon. It's so amazing watching them learn to do new things like this. They are having a hard time getting the food on the fork and spoon, but when I help them put the food on, they always eat it off of the utensil with no problem. Reagan really loves eating with her fork. If she leaves anything on her tray like she's not going to eat it....all it takes is stabbing it with her fork, and she will clear the tray. They are such big girls!
I get so much entertainment out of the fact that they are so different. The one thing they do seem to have in common with food so far? Cheerios. They both love cheerios!! They squeal with delight when they see the box. Of all things to get excited about.... :)
